Jesse Metcalfe has revealed he’d like to return to Desperate Housewives for a guest spot during the final series.
The actor played Gabriella Solis’ hunky gardener John Rowland in the series, which has been axed, and said he would like to join former castmates Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher at some point during its eighth series.
“There’s always that possibility. I would definitely be open to it, and it seems appropriate – seeing as I was part of the birth and the initial success of the show – to bring me back for the final season. But we’ll see if there’s interest there,” he said.
Jesse, who has since landed roles in Chase and the forthcoming reboot of Dallas, said he thought it was the right time for the Marc Cherry show to come to an end.
“I do think it’s the right time, it was a very successful show and a really great run and it’ll be a programme that’s forever ingrained in the public consciousness, it made its mark,” she said.
:: Chase continues on Fridays on Sky Living.
